We have never been fans of using an agency to recruit an employee, but didn't relish the thought of ploughing through hundreds of CV's and arranging interviews. Vanilla Recruitment was recommended to us, so we decided to try them on this occasion.

We have been very pleasantly surprised at how easy Vanilla made things. Kate came to our office to see where the employee would be working. She gained a thorough understanding of what the role entailed and what sort of person we were looking for.
Kate took on the task of contacting suitable people, sorting through the CV's, chatting to the candidates, then arranging the interviews, just a few at a time. We were given an in-depth CV, as well as a brief sum up to advise why the candidate, in Vanilla's opinion, was a good choice for our role. Kate offered to sit in on our interview, and afterwards, she gave us feedback from the candidate and advised them of our feedback.

We took someone on, but on that occasion, it didn't pan out as planned. However, it was not something anyone could have foreseen. Kate was really professional and just set about finding us another candidate and in less than three weeks, we had interviewed again and found the perfect person for the role.

It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Kate and her team and I can't recommend their services enough. Communication was constant, candidates were all worth us seeing and it worked out really well for us using an agency.

Sarah is by far one of the best recruiters, if not, the best recruiter that I've worked with in my 10+ years. Having moved from London to Corby with high expectations, Sarah was able to thoroughly understand my background and my very specific requirements for a new role after a 2-year maternity leave gap.
