We’re delighted to be supporting an industry-leading international company who are looking for an accomplished L&D Consultant to join them on an interim basis.
The successful candidate will help to create an effective Learning and Development Framework and Structure that supports all employees with professional, technical and personal development by providing career progression and access to a wide range of learning opportunities.
This is a fixed-term role for an initial duration of six months, with the potential for a further contract extension. Due to business requirements, applicants must be available immediately or within a week’s notice.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting the creation of an effective L&D Framework as part of a wider L&D initiative
- Focus on career routes and skills matrix for the business to provide transparent career rotes and opportunities within each area of the business
- Developing and implementing L&D initiatives to ensure the delivery of L&D objectives within the business
- Provide support with the development and implementation of an L&D Policy
- Working closely with the L&D BP and support with L&D initiatives and activities
- Working closely with various internal departments to identify new L&D opportunities
- Reviewing and analysing current non-technical training activity
- Working closely with HR to ensure continuous improvement
Skills and experience required:
- Extensive prior experience in a similar senior-level L&D role with key involvement at a strategical level
- Previous L&D experience within an industrial or manufacturing setting would be preferred
- IT proficient with a strong working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and engagement skills, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrates a passion for developing L&D initiatives, along with a keen interest in keeping informed of L&D news and ideas
Hours of work:
- Part-time, 2-3 days per week (8 hours per day)
- Flexible working pattern (mixture of office-based and remote working)
Salary and benefits:
- £65,000 – £75,000
