We’re currently recruiting a talented HR Advisor on behalf of a successful and innovative business in the health and wellbeing sector.
As part of this extremely varied and interesting role, the successful applicant will support the growth of the company by providing comprehensive Recruitment Administration across all aspects of HR, ensuring that a consistently high-quality service is delivered.
This is a remote based role but travel to the London office is required.
As the HR Advisor you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate the recruitment and selection processes including internal and external advertising, pre-screening, psychometric administration, telephone interviews, feeedback and offers
- Prepare and issue contract packs for all new starters
- Coordinate all internal people and change processes, including system updates, payroll administration, preparation and issue of documentation and supplier notification as appropriate
- Ensure effective management of colleague information and filing in line with GDPR, document retention and internal compliance requirements
- Manage the enquiries coming through, ensuring accurate and timely advice is provided within stated service levels
- Advise on and support line managers with routine colleague relations issues in line with company policies, procedures and legislation
- Advise on and support the creation of company policies and procedures that enable the Company to be an employer of choice
We’re looking for a HR Advisor with the following skills and experience:
- Extensive proven experience of working in a similar HR / Recruitment / Administration role
- CIPD or similar HR qualification preferred
- Good understanding of HR processes and relevant legislation
- IT Proficient and a confident user of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience of using an HR software system would also be advantageous
- Well-structured approach to time management and prioritisation within a busy environment working remotely
- Effective, helpful and approachable communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to deal tactfully with difficult situations
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs per week
Salary and benefits:
- Circa £30,000
