We’re delighted to introduce a brand new Global Content Management opportunity within a worldwide business, known as an industry leader in cutting edge technology solutions.
We’re looking for a forward-thinking Content Manager with second-to-none technical content writing expertise and an indepth understanding of CMS and WordPress. You’ll have a proven track record of producing content strategy for a range of international audiences, as well as having had key involvement in delivering high-profile product launches.
The role promises the successful applicant an exciting opportunity to shape a content strategy which delivers brand values and drives engagement from a wide audience both in the UK and overseas.
Salary, benefits and hours of work:
- £45,000 – £50,000 plus excellent benefits
- Fully remote role, however there is a requirement to attend the main office twice per month based in Castle Donington, Leicestershire
- Free car parking
- 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday
- Some flexibility will be required as attendance at earlier meetings is necessary due to varying time zones
As Global Content Manager, you’ll have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Planning, developing and implementing the content strategy
- Work with teams across the business to schedule and execute regional marketing content plans, product launches and applications/ solutions/ industries-based content
- Coordinating the digital content calendar to coordinate communications with planned sales campaigns
- Writing, reviewing and editing content such as case studies, social media posts, web and brochure content
- Monitoring all content, maintaining company voice, optimising SEO and ensuring technical accuracy
- Driving external global digital content and monitoring performance to increase traffic and lead generation
- Overseeing various platforms/ channels and training regions in best practice, globally
- Working with external movie makers, photographers and graphic designers to develop new content
- Managing and updating the internal multimedia content library
- Identifying problems and deficiency and implementing solutions in a timely manner
- Suggesting improvements in process and productivity optimization
We’re looking for a Global Content Manager with the following skills and experience:
- 4+ years of experience in a similar content development/ content management role with particular responsibility for B2B technical and commercial marketing copy
- WordPress or similar CMS experience is essential
- Proven track record of producing content on a global scale for a range of international audiences
- Previous key involvement in technical product launches
- Knowledge of a CRM such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce
- B2B social media experience primarily LinkedIn and YouTube, secondarily WeChat
- Basic comprehension of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop for quick fixes
- Confident in the production of automated email marketing campaigns
- Adept at working with many stakeholders across different regions
- Knowledge of other languages would be beneficial but is not essential
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills with outstanding attention to detail
- Flexible to travel as required (5% of role)
