Job description:
We’re currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator on behalf of a thriving private label food manufacturing business based in Corby, known as well-reputed suppliers to major retailers within their industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient administrative support within the Warehouse, ensuring all relevant paperwork is actioned and there is a smooth running of the administration operation.
This is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave, candidates MUST be able to start immediately and commit to a contract until end of February 2024.
Salary and benefits:
- £25,000
- Free parking
- Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 5pm, with a ½ hour lunch break (8 hours a day)
Duties and responsibilities:
- Booking deliveries into depots
- Tracking equipment usage hiring and de-hiring to correct DC depots
- Arranging transport from site to customer depots
- Requesting stock from 3rd party locations and transferring it on the in-house stock system
- Assisting in general stock queries and updating the planning team
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries
- Setting up and tracking usage of packaging and reporting on weekly usage
- Maintaining consumables inventory and anticipating required supplies
- Setting up MHE equipment service schedules and working with suppliers to organise maintenance
- Posting journals on the company ERP Navision system
Skills and experience required:
- Experience working within logistics, supply chain or inventory
- Good understanding of MS office, particularly Excel
- Experience of using MS Dynamics (Navision) would be preferred, however not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail
- An inquisitive approach and effective problem-solving skills
- Flexible to change as the business continues to grow
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues and suppliers
