We’re delighted to be recruiting a HR Manager / People Partner on behalf of a well-established, secure, profitable and growing manufacturing company based in Crick.
Reporting to the Head of People, this role is a superb, varied, hands-on HR Generalist role, that is pivotal in supporting the Senior Operations Team and Managers with all aspects of people management.
With 3 direct reports, you will deliver an excellent employment experience and support driving performance through people, with an emphasis on developing positive employee engagement.
Working hours, salary and benefits:
- Up to £60,000 plus annual bonus
- 25 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays

As HR Manager / People Partner you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Building solid relationships with managers, conducting regular operational reviews to identify concerns, opportunities and ensuring that positive steps are taken.
- Driving a culture of ownership and accountability for people management practices.
- Support managers in ensuring that people resources are planned and deployed efficiently.
- Coaching and supporting managers in all aspects of people management and providing comprehensive and commercial advice on complex employee relations queries.
- Acting as a change champion within transformational projects such as the implementation of an integrated labour scheduling tool.
- Developing and implementing a robust training and development strategy to increase skills and flexibility.
- Leading succession planning processes and ensuring that talent is identified and developed.
- Reviewing and developing new and existing policies and procedures in line with changes to legislation.
We’re looking for a People Partner with the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years HR Business Partnering experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Level 7 CIPD qualified/equivalent experience (or ideally be studying towards Level 7).
- Strong commercial acumen with experience of managing organisational change in a manufacturing environment, preferably involving pay grading, employee engagement and culture change.
- A proven track record in successfully dealing with complex employee relations issues.
- A great team player who is positive, personable and happy to roll their sleeves up when required.
- Consistent attention to detail with a right first-time attitude, results focused.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence.
