Are you a skilled customer service professional with extensive experience in providing business-to-business aftercare and account management?
We’re excited to be recruiting a Service Sales Advisor on behalf of a well-reputed and quickly-growing industrial supplier based in a picturesque location in rural Northamptonshire. The successful applicant will support and deliver the administration of the sales process, while providing an exceptional customer experience and proactively contributing to revenue growth.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday, 20 – 25 hours per week (specific working pattern is negotiable)
- Office based
Salary and benefits:
- £25,000 – £28,000 FTE
- Free on-site parking
- 21 days annual leave (+ bank holidays)
As Service Sales Advisor, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Handling, directing and / or responding to telephone and email enquiries into the business
- Completing all service sales administration tasks to the highest standard
- Scheduling service visits and booking other appointments, travel and catering as required
- Documenting and continuously improve working practices, to ensure administration continuity
- Ensuring all current service contracts are stored and electronically archived once they have expired
- Managing a Warranty-End contract renewal and signing process for products sold by the sales team
- Accurately quoting equipment repairs from customer and engineer reports
- Carrying out weekly fire safety checks of all systems, arrange staff training and act as fire marshal
- Support service operations by receiving, storing and dispatching goods
- Assisting with accounts processes when required
We’re looking for a Service Sales Advisor with the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience of working in a similar administrative role involving the provision of excellent customer service, ideally within a sales or service environment
- Interested in learning about the technical specifications of products
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing, with a friendly, enthusiastic and positive approach
- Confident and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Able to input data accurately, with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated, with an enterprising and resourceful outlook
- Works in an organised, methodical and problem-solving manner
