Salary and benefits:
- £28,000 – £30,000 FTE

Working Hours:
- 22.5 hours per week – hybrid working available
- Flexibility on working pattern as required – e.g. could be 3 full days or part-time across 4 days
Duties and responsibilities:
- Managing the recruitment and onboarding process, including creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and coordinating inductions and paperwork for new hires
- Acting as an approachable point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances
- Assisting managers in resolving employee conflicts and disputes
- Maintaining and updating employee records and ensure data accuracy on the HRIS
- Carefully monitoring sickness absence and advising managers on course of action
- Carrying out administration of employee benefits schemes
- Ensuring compliance with UK employment law, regulations, and company policies
- Supporting the development, delivery and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Preparing and maintaining HR documents, such as offer letters, contracts, and termination paperwork
- Facilitating the training and development of employees by coordinating necessary training courses
- Generating HR-related reports and analytics for SLT and SMT
- Participating as a member of the Social Committee and the Health & Safety Committee
- Becoming a mental health first aider and leading quarterly committee meetings
- Driving forward initiatives for health and wellbeing in the workplace
Skills and experience required:
- Extensive experience of working in a similar HR role, ideally within the industrial or manufacturing sectors
- CIPD Level 5 or above
- IT proficient, with a good knowledge of MS Office and experience of using HR software
- A sound and up-to-date knowledge of employment law, regulations and best practices
- Experience of advising on a range of HR matters such as absence management, coaching, performance management, and recruitment and selection
- Proactive and skilled communicator who can achieve desired understanding and results through writing and/or talking to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to drive change forward using best practices
