Job description:
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Administrator to join a leading educational establishment in Corby in the role of Operations Assistant.
In this interesting and varied new role, the successful applicant will provide high quality clerical support to the business.
Salary & benefits:

Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm
As Operations Assistant, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- A wide range of project work administration and general clerical support for the central team
- Organising travel and hospitality
- Regular monitoring of the enquiries inbox, and escalation as appropriate
- Updating and maintaining systems with accurate information
- Ordering supplies, checking deliveries of stock, and addressing any discrepancies
- Arranging meetings, attending and taking clear, concise and relevant minutes
- Acting as as first point of contact for both internal and external visitors, emails, and telephone calls
- Developing Record of Processing for data protection purposes with the Compliance Manager
- Supporting with co-ordination of internal communications
- Processing data, creating formats and producing reports to share with schools
We’re looking for an Operations Assistant with the following skills and experience:
- Experience of undertaking secretarial, PA or administrative duties at a senior level with a high degree of professional autonomy, ideally within an educational setting
- IT proficient, with good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Evidence of developing clerical processes and monitoring their effectiveness
- Prior involvement in coordinating projects and events for senior management
- Well organised with excellent time management and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and projects
- Enjoys working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a helpful, positive approach
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and GDPR compliance
