Job description:
Our prestigious, local client are looking for an Administrator to join their busy HR department on a temporary basis.
No prior HR employment experience is required, but it is essential that you have worked previously in an administrative setting. Candidates must have a positive attitude, friendly approach, strong attention to detail and be able to work at pace within a busy and demanding office environment.
What you can expect:
- £12.50 per hour
- Temporary 3 month contract
- Working hours Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch (35 hours per week)
- Due to the requirements of the business, applicants must be available to start on the 27th August
- Free parking
Duties and responsibilities:
- Carrying out the administration of all safeguarding compliance checks
- Completing all necessary paperwork promptly and accurately, including sending out letters and contracts
- Data inputting, taking notes and logging information
- Dealing with general correspondence
- Arranging and setting up interviews
- Keeping records updated and archiving any leavers
- General administration including filing, answering the phone etc
Skills and experience required:
- Prior experience in an administrative role
- High degree of IT literacy, with good working knowledge of MS Office
- Strong organisational skills
- Takes a diligent approach, demonstrating consistent attention to detail and accuracy
- Approachable with excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and collected in a busy and demanding environment, whilst working efficiently at pace
- Analytical, reasoned and logical approach to work situations
- An understanding of the importance of working with diplomacy and sensitivity to others; with absolute discretion where required
