    Job description:

    Our client based in Kibworth, a growing professional services business are currently recruiting for an Administration Assistant to join their friendly team.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support, predominantly audio typing and therefore excellent attention to detail is key.

    This is initially a temporary position for up to 3 months with the potential to extend and lead to a longer-term opportunity for the right candidate.

     

    • £12.76 per hour (£24,212 per annum)
    • Working hours are Monday to Thursday 9.00am-5.30pm, Friday 9.00am-4.30pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch, 36.5 hours per week
    • Standard holiday entitlement whilst temporary, increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays once permanent
    • Early finish on a Friday
    • Dress down and pastry Fridays
    • Free parking

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Audio typing minutes, reports and documentation within required timescales
    • Managing email inbox and prioritising tasks accordingly
    • Updating workload trackers
    • Answering inbound calls and forwarding any calls/messages to colleagues
    • Providing an exceptional service to all clients and contacts
    • Maintaining all organisational systems
    • Greeting visitors as and where required
    • Ordering stationery and equipment
    • Photocopying and binding

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Previous administrative background
    • Audio typing experience would be ideal, however not essential
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent communication skills across a range of stakeholders
    • Strong organisational and time management skills
    • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing needs
    • Team player
    • Confident using MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel
