Senior Accountant

We are recruiting a Senior Accountant for an award-winning and dynamic digital accountancy practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that embraces new technology and automation of processes.

• £38,000 – £45,000
• Working hours Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
• Friday’s working from home
• 10% bonus after successful probation period
• Statutory pension

Duties and responsibilities:

• Manage a dedicated portfolio of clients, handling their bookkeeping and pension needs
• Ensure accurate and timely compliance with VAT, year-end accounts, and other regulations
• Provide insightful financial advice and guidance to your clients
• Take client calls, respond to queries and build strong relationships
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice

Skills and experience required:

• ACCA or ICAEW qualified
• 2 years post qualification experience within a practice environment
• Good working knowledge of Xero required along with advanced level of Excel and MAC user advantageous
• Sound commercial acumen
• Takes a positive, resilient approach to work and enjoys problem solving
• Ability to manage relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
