    Job description:

    We are proud to be working with an award-winning international software development company who are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join their growing organisation. This is an exciting role for the business as you will not only need a financial hat but also a commercial hat to assist them in driving their business forward.

As part of the senior management team you will be responsible for financial overviews into company strategies and projects.

    The company is currently implementing a new ERP system (Sage Intact) and will you be needing to assist with the checking of the system reporting.

     

    Salary and benefits:

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Management and development of the existing finance team (4 people)
    • Production of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet with supporting variance analysis for the board
    • Preparation of budgets and monthly forecasting and reconciliation of company overheads
    • Multi-currency accounting
    • Producing cashflow forecasts
    • Coordinating the preparation of statutory accounts for external accountants and liaising with auditors where required
    • VAT returns
    • Proactively improving internal processes and ensuring strong financial control exists around the recording and reporting of income and expenditure
    • Collation of payroll for outsourced payroll company
    • Involvement in project work

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified – QBE will be considered
    • Experience of managing and mentoring a small team
    • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
    • Strong technical skills and
    • Strong working knowledge of Excel
    • Experience of working with an ERP system
    • Experience of working within a SSAS organisation highly desirable
    • Confident in dealing with Directors and stakeholders in the business
    • Demonstrates a growth mindset and an interest in seeing the role and business develop
